COLUMBIA, Ky. – Lindsey Wilson student-athlete
Janna Plains was selected to the 2025 Mid-South Conference women's bowling Champions of Character Team, league officials announced Thursday.
The senior, from Oakland, Kentucky, garners Champions of Character distinctions for the first time in her career and becomes the sixth different women's bowler in program history to receive the honor from the conference.
The Mid-South recognizes a Champions of Character Team for each championship sport. The student-athletes that are honored on the Champions of Character Team were nominated by their coaches based on their leadership on campus and in the community while demonstrating the five core character values of the NAIA.
Campbellsville's (Ky.) Autumn Anderson, Tennessee Wesleyan's Abigail Key, Cumberlands' (Ky.) Paige Frantz, Union Commonwealth's (Ky.) Olivia Brock, Midway's (Ky.) Maegan Coleman, Pikeville's (Ky.) Erica Warne, and Cumberland's (Tenn.) Carlie Semrau were each honored with the recognition.
Janna and her Blue Raider teammates are in Bowling Green this week for the Mid-South Conference Championships.
