Ten Lindsey Wilson Women’s Wrestlers Qualify for NAIA National Championship

3/5/2025 11:16:00 AM

COLUMBIA, Ky. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced the qualifiers for the 2025 Women's  Wrestling National Championships on Tuesday.

Each conference tournament awards automatic bids per weight class based on the final regular-season rating. Each conference is awarded automatic berths based on the number of wrestlers ranked in each weight class. Each conference is awarded a minimum of one automatic bid per weight class, which will go to the tournament champions, even if the conference did not have any wrestlers ranked in the final regular-season rating. If a conference does not have an individual ranked in the final top 17, an allocation will be granted to ensure each conference is represented at each weight class at the National Championships.

After the conference tournaments concluded, a 12-member committee consisting of conference raters and oversight members met to select the remaining national at-large qualifiers. The seeding and preliminary brackets will be announced on NAIA.org by 5 p.m. (CST) on Friday, March 7th.

Representing the Blue Raiders are Rodiat Adeduntan (110), Reagan Thomas (110) Callie Payton (117), Sydney Bridenstine (124) Kamilah Brooks (124), Kori Campbell (138), Josselinne Campos (145), Lexi Ritchie (145), India Page (180) and  Hayeni Costa (207).

William Penn (Iowa), Life (Ga.), Grand View (Iowa), Doane (Neb.), and Providence (Mont.) all travel with 12 wrestlers.

210 total wrestlers qualified for the women's wrestling national championship this year, with the Mid-South Conference leading the way with 56 total qualifiers. The Heart of America Conference follows with a total of 46 wrestlers qualifying.

The 2025 NAIA Women's Wrestling National Championships are scheduled to take place at Park City Arena in Wichita, Kansas March 14-15.
