COLUMBIA, Ky. - The Blue Raider baseball team heads to Greensburg, Kentucky to take on Georgetown College (Ky.) for a doubleheader at 3 pm CST and 6 pm CST in American Legion Park. 
 
Lindsey Wilson (4-25, 1-5 Mid-South Conference) fell to the University of Pikeville (Ky.) 5-4 on April 1. Bryce Sidler and Matt Schultz lead the Blue Raider offense with a .358 batting average. Andres Duran leads in the home run and RBI categories with five and 20, respectively. Glenn Simes (2-5), leads the Blue Raiders on the mound this season, pitching a total of 37.2 innings and facing 171 batters. Simes leads the team in strikeouts with 31 and has an ERA of 8.36 , allowing 42 runs on 60 hits. 
 
Georgetown (5-24, 0-9 MSC) is on a seven-game losing streak with their most recent loss coming from Cumberland University (Tenn.) in a three-game series sweep on March 28th and 29th with 12-6, 10-1, and 14-5 losses. Jarrett Chapman and Jose Cazorla lead the team with 15 RBIs a piece, with Chapman contributing one homerun. Aidan Jbara leads the offense with a .317 batting average with 20 hits in 63 plate appearances. Chad Baker (0-4) has fired the most innings at 37.0. Baker has an ERA of 5.59, giving up 23 runs on 48 hits alongside 31 strikeouts and 10 walks. 
 
Georgetown leads the all-time series between the two programs 21-15. The Blue Raiders last met the Tigers on March 24th, 2024, where Lindsey Wilson took a 14-4 victory. Lindsey Wilson has won three of the last ten matchups. This will be the first meeting between the two teams on neutral ground as the Blue Raiders look to snap an eight game losing streak. 
 
The first pitch will be thrown from the mound of American Legion Park at 3pm CST, followed by game two of the double-header at 6pm CST. Day two of the series  is scheduled for 1 p.m. CST at Egnew Park
