COLUMBIA, Ky- The Blue Raider men's soccer team defeated Georgetown (Ky.) 6-0 in their Mid-South Conference opener on Ray Wells Field, Tuesday night.

Lindsey Wilson scored six goals for the first time since Oct. 23, 2024 against the Cumberlands (Ky.).

Dominic Ayella dominated offensively, scoring three goals and assisting on one. Julaino Manfro, Renny Caicedo, and Denilson Macon were the other Blue Raiders to score in the 6-0 shutout.

Ayella put Lindsey Wilson on the board first in the 22nd minute on a bicycle kick goal, assisted by Michael Rempel and Milan Diao. Less than five minutes later,  Manfro found Ayella in the box for a header to extend the lead to 2-0 in the 27th minute. Manfro and Ayella connected again in the 44th minute, this time with Ayella finding Manfro on the left wing to extend the Blue Raider lead to 3-0.

Lindsey Wilson outshot the Tigers 17-2 in the first half, with eight attempts being on goal. The Blue Raiders held the 3-0 edge headed into the half.

Both teams remained scoreless in the second half until the Blue Raiders extended their lead to 4-0 in the 78th minute off of an Ayella hat trick. Caicedo was able to break free in the open field in the 83rd minute, growing the lead to 5-0. Less than four minutes later, Paseka Maile found  Macon in the corner of the box for a flick into the back of the net, scoring Lindsey Wilson's sixth goal of the night in the 87th minute.
