LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson indoor track and field teams wrapped up the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational Saturday at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center with several standout performances.
On the men's side,
Cambell Rawlings advanced through the 60-meter semifinals where he placed fifth and finished sixth in the finals, running 6.79 seconds in both rounds to meet the NAIA 'B' standard. The men's 4x400-meter relay of
Miah Chatmond,
Enric Fernandez,
Royce Mentor IV, and
Daniel Otibo finished 14th, also hitting the NAIA 'B' standard with a time of 3:17.09.
For the women, freshman
Promise Amasiatu led the Blue Raiders in the sprints, finishing third in the 60 meters semifinals with a time of 7.51 marking a 'B' standard qualifying for the finals where she later ran 7.46 seconds, meeting the NAIA 'A' standard.
Hannah Reid earned a NAIA 'B' mark in the 400 meters, running 56.72 seconds to place 10th. In the triple jump, senior
Selena Johnson hit a 'B' standard with a distance of 11.73 meters, finishing 15th.
Lindsey Wilson will next compete at the Eastern Indoors Friday February 6 at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center in Louisville, Kentucky
