COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson baseball team takes on Trinity Christian College (Ill.)  in a three-game series Thursday-Friday at Egnew Park. 

The series gets underway with a doubleheader on Thursday at 2 p.m. CT, and wraps up with a single game on Friday at 12:00 p.m. CT. 

The Blue Raiders (1-1) began their season Saturday against Indiana University Columbus, winning their season opener 12-3, before falling 5-3 on Sunday. Lindsey Wilson recorded 12 hits and drew eight walks in their first win of the season. Blane Bradford went 3-4 with two RBIs, including a leadoff home run in the bottom of the first inning. Caden Davis also went 3-4, while Drake Young recorded 4 RBIs. Jack Ballou got the start, going five innings, allowing three runs on six hits.

The Trolls (2-1) are coming off a series win at Williams Baptist College (Ark.), dropping their season opener 3-0, before winning the final two games 8-5, 6-2. Hector Mendoza recorded four hits in the series, while Shane Jones recorded three. Josh Pilgram went 5-9 with 2 runs scored and 5 RBIs.
