COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson women's wrestling team moved up one spot to No. 4 in the latest NAIA Women's Wrestling Coaches' Top 20 Poll, the national office announced Thursday.
The Blue Raiders garnered 154 points in the poll earn the No. 4 ranking.
Twelve Lindsey Wilson grapplers are ranked in their respective weight classes.
Reagan Thomas checks in at 10th in the 110-pound weight class.
Grace Lashinsky ranked fifth at 117 pounds, while
Callie Payton is ninth.
Kamilah Brooks is slotted at No. 3 at 124 pounds, and
Kalliscya Gardner is 17th.
Jeila Ramos is eighth at 131 pounds.
Brielle Bibla and
Lexi Ritchie are tied for 10th at 138 pounds.
Kori Campbell is ranked fifth at 145 pounds, while
Katelyn Lewis is 13th at 180 pounds.
Hayeni Costa is ranked seventh in the 207-pound class, while
Cheyenne Cruce is 13th.
Life (Ga.) sits atop the poll with 233 points. Cumberlands (Ky.) is sixth with 129 points while Indiana Tech is eighth, garnering 115 points. Campbellsville (Ky.) is up two spots to No. 15 in the poll with 58 points. Georgetown (Ky.), Montreat (N.C.), and Lourdes (Ohio) are mentioned in the receiving votes section of the poll
Grand View (Iowa) sits in second with 200 points, while Providence (Mont.) is third with 182 points. William Penn (Iowa) is slotted fifth with 153 points.
The Blue Raiders are back in action on Saturday, hosting the Lindsey Wilson Women's Open at the Holloway Health and Wellness Center at 10 a.m. CT
