LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Lindsey Wilson's women's indoor track and field team posted several top finishes and earned NAIA standards Friday at the Eastern Indoors inside the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center.
In the high jump,
Rosemond Owusu cleared 1.69 meters to meet the NAIA "A" standard and also set a new school record, breaking her previous one of 1.68 back on February 25, 2025, placing first.
Destiny Barnes placed third with a jump of 1.45 meters, and
Mine Iscen placed sixth with a distance of 1.25 meters.
In the 60 meters,
Hannah Reid ran 7.70 in the prelims to qualify for the final.
Jermani Morris 7.88 and
Elaina Holliday 7.90 also qualified. In the final, Reid placed third in 7.75 to meet the NAIA B standard. Morris finished fifth in 7.89, and Holliday placed eighth in 8.01.
In the 60-meter hurdles,
Chenessa Davis ran 8.87 in the prelims to qualify for the final.
Isabel Urrutia Lemus 9.11 also qualified. In the final, Davis placed third in 8.89 and Lemus placed fourth in 9.00.
In the 200 meters, Reid ran 24.85 to place second and meet the NAIA "B" standard. Morris finished fourth in 25.74.
In the long jump,
Charm Rone placed third with 5.46 meters, Holliday fifth with 5.29 meters,
Jada McIntyre sixth with 5.28 meters,
Rosemond Owusu seventh at 5.24 meters, and
Chenessa Davis eighth with 5.19 meters.
In the triple jump,
Jada McIntyre placed sixth with 10.69 meters.
In the weight throw,
Reagan Cheatham placed fourth with 14.92 meters.
Nevaeh Acklin placed seventh with 11.95 meters.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action Tuesday, February 17, at the Mid-South Conference Championships inside the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center in Louisville, Kentucky.
