Baseball Hosts Campbellsville to Open MSC Play

COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson baseball opens Mid-South Conference playagainst rival (RV) Campbellsville (Ky.) Friday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. CT at Egnew Park.

The Blue Raiders go into conference play with a record of 8-13, while the Tigers enter with a record of 13-7. Lindsey Wilson is coming off a doubleheader split against in-state opponent Pikeville (Ky.). The Tigers come into the game winners of two straight after defeating Talladega (Ala.) and Union Commonwealth (Ky.).

Offensively, the Blue Raiders are led by Andres Duran, Orion Hahm-Taklander, and Caden Davis. Duran leads the team in OPS (1.061), home runs (4), runs batted in (17), and total bases (37). Hahm-Taklander is batting a team-leading .375, with a 1.050 OPS and 13 RBIs. Davis has cemented himself as the Blue Raiders' everyday centerfielder and leadoff hitter. Davis has scored 21 runs and has a .371 batting average with a .957 OPS. In terms of pitching, Lindsey Wilson is led by freshman right-hander Easton Talley. The Tigers' pitching staff is led by Joe McBride, Tristin Crusenberry, and Parker King.
