COLUMBIA, Ky. - Lindsey Wilson softball holds its ground at No. 11 in the NAIA's fourth regular season coaches' poll released on Wednesday.
The Blue Raiders were previously tied with Marian (Ind.) for the No. 11 slot but claim it outright with six wins in eight games since the last poll on April 1.
Each team that resides inside the top five earned first-place votes. Oregon Tech leads the way with 11 of 29 possible first-place tallies, followed by No. 2 Oklahoma City, third-ranked Madonna (Mich.), No. 4 Southeastern (Fla.), and fifth-ranked Eastern Oregon.
Fellow Mid-South Conference institution Cumberlands (Ky.) moved up two spots to No. 18, while Cumberland (Tenn.) and Campbellsville (Ky.) each entered the "receiving votes" category.
The Tigers host the Phoenix this weekend, then travel to Columbia for the regular season finale April 24-25 at Marilyn D. Sparks Park.
