Kayla Saunders earned Third Team NAIA All-American honors on Thursday, the national office announced.
Saunders, a junior from Ballito, South Africa, earns All-American honors for the first time in her career. She becomes the 10th golfer in program history to earn All-American status.
Saunders posted five top-10 finishes this season and three finishes in the top five. She finished the season with a 74.67 stroke average, which is the fourth-best in program history.
She posted her best finish at the Mid-South Conference Championship, capturing medalist honors with a 223 (74-75-74), winning by four shots. Saunders made the cut at the NAIA National Championship. She finished 23rd with a three-round score of 233 (75-80-78).
Saunders helped lead the Blue Raiders to their third straight appearance in the NAIA National Championship.
