COLUMBIA, Ky. - The Mid-South Conference has released the preseason coaches polls for women's cross country. Lindsey Wilson is projected to place sixth with 18 points.

Cumberlands (Ky.) is favored to win a second straight Mid-South Conference title, receiving 26 total points and six first-place votes. Cumberland (Tenn,) was chosen as the runner-up with one first-place vote. Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) came in third-place with 21 total points. Campbellsville (Ky.) notched fourth tallying 20 points. Georgetown (Ky.) topped the Blue Raiders by two points, bringing them into fifth place, and Bethel (Tenn.) is slotted seventh heading into this year.

Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own program.

Last fall the Blue Raiders placed seventh at the Mid-South Conference Championship. The 2026 Cross Country season will open up Friday, August 28 at the Eagle Opener Exhibition, hosted by Asbury (Ky.), in Wilmore, Kentucky.
