COLUMBIA, Ky. — The No. 13 Lindsey Wilson women's soccer team will travel to Mid-South Conference foe Bethel (Tenn.) for a 5 p.m. CT match Thursday at Walter Butler Stadium. 

The Blue Raiders (3-1-1, 1-0-0 MSC) are coming off a two-game homestand where they started conference play with a 7-0 victory over Freed-Hardeman on Sept. 8, followed by a 2-1 win over 19th-ranked Spring Arbor (Mich.) on Saturday, Sept. 12. During that stretch, Lindsey Wilson's offense was powered by freshman Ona Monserrat Baca, who earned MSC Offensive Player of the Week honors after registering three goals and two assists, including the game-winner against the Cougars in the 88th minute. 

Ashiat Naluggwa leads the Blue Raiders in goals this season with four, while Monserrat Baca paces the group with two assists. Demi Serman has collected 15 saves in goal for Lindsey Wilson.

The Wildcats (0-4-1, 0-1-0) are coming off a 9-0 loss to MSC rival Cumberland (Tenn.) in their last match. Bethel is coached by Misty Aird, who is in her 27th season with the program. The Wildcats are led on offense by Rose Boichat and Tinotenda Taurai, a duo that has combined for five goals this season. Bethel deploys a tandem goalkeeper system featuring Lola Guerin and Maria Carrico, who have both seen substantial minutes. Guerin leads the team with 16 saves.

Series history favors Lindsey 13-3 all-time. In the most recent meeting between the two programs, it was the Blue Raiders defending their home turf with a 4-0 win on Oct. 21, 2025.
