COLUMBIA, Ky. – The No. 12 Lindsey Wilson women's soccer team returns to the road, traveling to face (RV) Tennessee Southern for a 5:30 p.m. CT matchup on Tuesday at Grissom Pitch.

The Blue Raiders enter Tuesday's contest 5-1-1 and on a four-game winning streak. Lindsey Wilson has outscored opponents 15-5 this season while holding a 128-56 advantage in shots.

Lindsey Wilson is coming off a 1-0 victory at West Virginia Tech on Saturday, Sept. 19. Ona Monserrat Baca provided the only goal of the match, scoring in the 16th minute off an assist from Alexandra Giusti. Monserrat Baca leads the Blue Raiders with 10 points on four goals and two assists.

Goalkeeper Demi Serman has started all seven matches, recording 17 saves and helping Lindsey Wilson post two shutouts this season.

The Firehawks come in at 5-1-1 on the season, leading the nation with 73 goals and 69 assists. Over its last three contests, Tennessee Southern has scored 65 unanswered goals.

Tuesday marks the 24th meeting in the series. Tennessee Southern leads the all-time series 10-8-5, but the Blue Raiders won the most recent matchup 5-2 on Oct. 16, 2025. 

After this match Lindsey Wilson heads back home to host Mid-South Conference rival No. 3-ranked Cumberlands (Ky.) at 5 p.m. CT on Saturday, Sept. 26.
