COLUMBIA, Ky. - The No. 13 Lindsey Wilson women's soccer team opens Mid-South Conference play on Tuesday at 5 p.m. CT against Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) inside Walter S. Reuling Stadium.
On Sunday night, the Blue Raiders (1-1-1) played 10th-ranked William Carey to a 1-1 draw. After entering halftime down 1-0, Lindsey Wilson got an equalizer from
Norka Fergusson in the 59th minute off an assist from
Eva Cova, capping the scoring for the match.

Ashiat Naluggwa and
Alexandra Giusti for the team lead in goals, with one apiece. Cova's assist ties her with
Laura Castilletti for the Blue Raider lead.

Demi Serman has 10 saves on the season following her five stops against the Crusaders.
The Lions (0-4-0) are coming off a 2-1 loss to Point (Ga.). Isabel Croke's goal in that game is Freed-Hardeman's only of the season; it was assisted by Morakane Mokhothu.
A two-keeper system has been deployed by the Lions this season, with Layla Olson and Maria Paz Mora Silva each getting two starts. The duo has collected 31 saves, and Paz Mora Silva's 16 denials lead the pair.
Series history favors the Blue Raiders, who own a 7-0 record all-time against Freed-Hardeman. That includes two wins last season: a 6-0 regular season victory and a 2-0 triumph in the opening round of the Mid-South Conference Tournament.
