SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's golf team finished the 2004-2005 season with a 17th place finish at the NAIA Women's Golf National Championship played at Blackthorn Golf Club.
The Blue Raiders finished with a four round total of 1,377 over the 5,889 yard, par 72 course.
No. 1-ranked Oklahoma City University won the national championship with a team total of 1,226.
Lindsey Wilson freshman
Beth Cooper led the Blue Raiders with a four round total of 330 (81-87-82-80). Cooper finished in 30th place in the 119 player field.
Following the tournament, Cooper was named NAIA Honorable Mention All-American. Cooper ended the season with an 82.5 strokes per round average in 20 rounds played during her freshman season.

Jessica Robertson finished one stroke behind Cooper with a total of 331 (85-79-77-90). Robertson finished tied for 31st.
Sophomore
Stacy McClain ended the tournament tied for 90th with a 360 (89-93-94-84), while freshman
Lindsay Roberts finished in 95th with a 365 (94-86-88-95). Senior
Betsy Thomas ended her career finishing 98th with a 369 (93-92-92-92).
Oklahoma City's Emily Albrektson won the individual championship with a four round total of 297 (76-75-71-75).
Lindsey Wilson ends its season making the program's first-ever trip to the national championship and a program best 19th national ranking. The Blue Raiders also set a program record for wins in a season with six wins during the season.
