CORBIN, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's golf team broke the team-total program record for the second consecutive day to win the University of the Cumberlands Fall Invitational today at Tri-County Country Club.

Beth Cooper earned her fifth career medalist honors beating junior teammate
Jessica Robertson by two strokes. Both were named to the all-tournament team.
The Blue Raiders, who set the team-total program record on Monday with a 317, shot a 310 in Tuesday's second round for a two-day total of 627. The 627 total also sets a two-round total record, besting the previous mark of 661 set last October.
Georgetown (Ky.) College finished second with a team-total of 674 (338-336), while Campbellsville (Ky.) University finished third with 685 (344-341).
Cooper, a Russell Springs, Kentucky, native, shot a two-day total of 155 (80-75) for medalist honors. Cooper, a 2005 NAIA All-American, shot the 75 despite opening the second round with four straight bogeys. She shot one-under par, 35 on the back nine to win the tournament by two strokes.
Robertson, a Russell Springs, native, shot a two-day total of 157 (79-78), while Greensburg, Kentucky, freshman Cheslee Elkins shot 158 (81-77) to finish tied for third in her first collegiate tournament. Blue Raider junior
Lindsay Roberts, who led after the first round, finished fifth with a total of 161 (77-84).
Elkins and Roberts joined Cooper and Robertson on the six-person all-tournament team.
Lindsey Wilson sophomore
Aline Decker finished the tournament tied for ninth with a 166 (86-80) to round out the Blue Raider team.
Senior
Stacy McClain shot a two-day total of 163 (83-80) to finish in eighth place playing as an individual. Freshman
Cecilee Harlan finished tied for 20th as an individual with a 176 (88-88).
Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Wednesday, September 27, as they travel to the Transylvania (Ky.) University Invitational in Lexington.
