COLUMBIA, Ky. -- No. 16-ranked Lindsey Wilson closed the regular season with a 4-0 win over visiting Midway (Ky.) tonight at Walter S. Reuling Stadium.

With the win, the Blue Raiders (11-4-1) earn the top seed in the Mid-South Conference Tournament -- thanks to the fourth tiebreaker of goals allowed against conference opponents. The tournament begins on Friday in Bowling Green, Ky.

Andrew Revanales continued his scoring binge with a pair of first-half goals to give the Blue Raiders more than enough against the Eagles (9-7-1). Revanales -- the reigning national and conference player of the week -- scored in the 29th and 37th minutes to put Lindsey Wilson out in front 2-0 at the break.

After a stout defensive stand by Midway in the opening 25 minutes, the trio of Revanales, Aleksi Pahkasalo and Brian Richards teamed up for a passing clinic to set up the first goal of the game. Richards slotted the ball deep into the penalty area to Pahkasalo who touched it back to Revanales who then blasted the ball into the back of the net for the 1-0 lead.

Revanales scored his second goal of the night and his 17th of the season off a rebound of his own shot to give the Blue Raiders the two-goal advantage.

Lindsey Wilson -- who outshot the Eagles 22-1 during the match -- continued to challenge the Midway backline in the second half.

Moustapha Fofana extended the lead to 3-0 off an assist from Mutaya Mwape in the 54th minute. Mwape set of the goal with a sliding pass from the endline to Fofana just inside the six-yard box. Fofana touched the ball into the back of the net for his second tally of the season.

Martin Valdovinos capped the scoring with a hard blast through the hands of Midway goalkeeper Christian Neira. Storm Lilly set up the goal with a pass that ricocheted to Valdovinos for the goal and a 4-0 lead.

Alvaro Cortazar recorded a clean sheet for the Blue Raiders without having to make a save.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action at Noon CT on Friday, Nov. 4, as the Blue Raiders face eighth-seeded Pikeville (Ky.) in the MSC Tournament quarterfinals at Warren East High School.
