FRANKFORT, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson men's basketball built a 16-point lead late in the second half only to have top-seeded Life (Ga.) steal the win away with a 98-97 overtime win in the Mid-South Conference Tournament semifinals tonight at the Frankfort Convention Center.

Courtney Warren swished a 35-foot heave at the end of regulation to send the game into overtime and the Running Eagles was one point better in the extra frame to advance to Sunday's title game.

Lindsey Wilson used a 30-14 run over a 10-minute span in the second half to take an 80-64 lead with 4:41 left in the game.

Life -- lead by MSC Player of the Year Dalarian Williams' game-high 43 points -- trimmed the lead to 86-85 with four seconds left. D.J. Lambert made a pair of free throws to extend the lead to 88-85, but Warren broke the Blue Raiders' hearts with the last-second shot just over the half-court line.

In the extra frame, Williams scored the first four points to push the lead to 92-88. The Blue Raiders responded with four straight -- a layup from Bryan Wallace and two more free throws from Lambert.

The back-and-forth continued with another Williams basket and two free throws from Mike Miller to give the Running Eagles a 96-92 lead.

A 3-pointer by Lambert from the corner and a steal and layup by Wallace gave Lindsey Wilson it's first and only lead of the overtime at 97-96 with 16 seconds left.

Williams -- who scored eight of Life's 10 points in overtime -- made an acrobatic shot with four seconds left in overtime to give the Running Eagles the win. Lindsey Wilson committed its 14th turnover of the game after the inbounds to help Life secure the win.

Lindsey Wilson shot 54.7 percent (35-of-64) from the field, including hitting 10-of-23 3-pointers. Life -- who connected on 45.6 percent (36-of-79) of its shots while matching Lindsey Wilson from three -- took advantage of a 44-27 rebounding edge.

Dmitry Utolin led the Blue Raiders with 26 points -- one off his career high. Wallace posted 19 points, Lambert 17, Charles Sutton 15 and Nic Brown 13 to give the Blue Raiders five in double figures.

Lindsey Wilson must now wait to see if they will receive an at-large bid into the national tournament. The tournament field is announced on Wednesday, March 8.
