MARSHALL, Mo. – The Lindsey Wilson wrestling team completed the second and final day of action at the Missouri Valley Invite on Saturday morning.

Trent Johnson and Corey Cannon were the only two Blue Raiders to compete, as the pair remained alive in the individual bracket tournament after the first day of wrestling.

Johnson (No. 15 at 149) was set to compete in the championship bracket semifinals to open his day but medically forfeited his matches due to injury to finish in sixth place in the 149-pound weight class. Cannon picked up his second loss of the event on a 14-2 major decision result to Kegan Mulhill (No. 10 at 174) of Eastern Oregon.

Lindsey Wilson returns to Mid-South Conference action on Tuesday when they compete against No. 10 Campbellsville (Ky.) on the road.
