COLUMBIA, Ky.- The Lindsey Wilson women's basketball team has been ranked at No.24 in the NAIA Preseason Top-25 Coaches' Poll, announced league officials Wednesday morning. 

This ranking marks the first time since October 27, 2021 that the Blue Raiders are ranked in the preseason poll, as well as their first time being ranked in the Top-25 Coaches Poll in general since November 17, 2021. Lindsey Wilson received 144 points in the poll after finishing their 2024-25 campaign with a 16-14 record, including a 3-9 mark in the Mid-South Conference, and a First Round exit from the NAIA National Tournament. 

Dordt (Iowa) holds the top spot in the poll, receiving 600 points and 20 first-place votes. Five other MSC competitors sit in the poll, with three being ranked in the top six. Reigning MSC Champion, Bethel (Tenn.), sits at No.2, Campbellsville (Ky.) lands at No.3, Freed-Hardmen (Tenn.) holds the No.6 slot, Cumberlands (Ky.) sits behind the Blue Raiders at No.25, and Georgetown (Ky.) is receiving votes. 

In addition, Lindsey Wilson will face Milligan (Tenn.) and Huntington (Ind.) who are receiving votes, Oregon Tech at No.14, as well as Pikeville (Ky.) and Florida Memorial who are also receiving votes, respectively. 

The Blue Raiders will kick off their season at home in Biggers Sports Center when they face Union Commonwealth (Ky.) on Friday at P.M. CT.
