COLUMBIA, Ky.- Lindsey Wilson student-athlete
Amanda Parreiras has been named to the 2025 Mid-South Conference Women's Soccer Champions of Character Team, conference officials announced Wednesday.
Parreiras, a senior defender from Belo Horizonte, Brazil, earned the Champions of Character honor for the first time in her Blue Raider career.
The Mid-South Conference recognizes a Champions of Character Team for each championship sport. Student-athletes selected for the honor are nominated by their coaches based on leadership on campus and in the community while exemplifying the five core character values of the NAIA.
Bethel's (Tenn.) Anna-McCall Johnson, Campbellsville's (Ky.) Grace Smith, Cumberland's (Tenn.) Adelyn Drane, Cumberlands' (Ky.) Noah Palmaan, Freed-Hardeman's (Tenn.) Ericka Montenegro, and Georgetown's (Ky.) Daysia Thompson were also honored with the recognition.
Parreiras and the No. 18-ranked Blue Raiders will face Cumberlands (Ky.) in the Mid-South Conference semifinals at 6 p.m. CT on Wednesday, November 5, at Walter S. Reuling Stadium on Ray Wells Field.
