COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson women's tennis team is ranked third in the NAIA Preseason Coaches' Top 25 Poll, the national office announced on Wednesday

The Blue Raiders garnered 261 points in the poll to earn the No. 3 ranking. Last season, Lindsey Wilson went 18-3 and 6-0 in Mid-South Conference play capturing both the regular season and conference tournament titles. The Blue Raiders fell in the semifinals of the NAIA National Tournament 4-0 to Georgia Gwinnett.

Keiser (Fla.) holds the top spot in the poll with 296 points and eight of the 12 first-place votes. Reigning national champions Georgia Gwinnett is slotted second with 290 points and the final four first-place votes. William Carey (Miss.) and Tennessee Wesleyan round out the top five with 257 and 252 points, respectively.

Cumberlands (Ky.) and Cumberland (Tenn.) also represent the MSC in the top 25. The Patriots are slotted 15th with 149 points while the Phoenix garnered 55 points to be ranked 23rd. Bethel (Tenn.) and Campbellsville (Ky.) are mentioned in the receiving votes section of the poll. The Wildcats garnered 35 points while the Tigers earned eight.
