COLUMBIA, Ky.- The Blue Raider women's basketball team is headed to Murray, Kentucky to face the Murray State (Ky.) Racers in an exhibition Saturday afternoon. 

Lindsey Wilson (12-2) is on an eight game win streak with its most recent win coming on Monday in a 73-60 decision against Florida Memorial. Meadow Tisdale and Taylor Guess lead the offense posting 14.7 points and 10.2 ppg, respectively. Saniyah Shelton leads the attack on the glass with 7.8 boards a night as well as leading in assists, tallying 3.78 a night. 

On the season, the Blue Raiders are averaging 76.8 points a night on 43.1 percent shooting from the field, 31.8 percent from behind the arc, and 71.0 percent from the charity stripe. Lindsey Wilson is outrebounding opponents 42.3 to 30.2 with an average of 16.0 offensive rebounds a night. 

Murray State is off to a 8-2 start picking up its latest victory on Monday against Memphis (Tenn.), 85-57. The Racers offense is led by Sharnecce Currie-Jelks posting 21.0 points a night. Halli Poock, Haven Ford, and Keslyn Secrist round out the double-figure scoring tallying 16.3 ppg, 15.1 ppg, and 12.7 ppg, respectively. 

The Blue Raiders and Racers last met on November 2, 2023 in an exhibition where Murray took the 102-45 victory. 

Lindsey Wilson will tip-off against Murray State at 2 P.M. CT Saturday afternoon inside the CFSB Center.
