LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's track and field team opened the 2025-26 indoor season on Saturday, December 6, at the Commonwealth College Opener in Louisville, Kentucky.

The Blue Raiders finished second with 122 points behind West Georgia. Daniel Otibo broke the school record in the 600 meters with a time of 1:21.05, finishing second. Maxwell Wordui won the long jump with a mark of 7.45 m, meeting the NAIA "A" standard and setting a facility record. In the triple jump, Jayden Wentz took first with 14.63 m, and Lorenzo Luces placed second with 14.58 m, both meeting the "A" standard.

In the sprints, Cambell Rawlings finished third in the 60 meters with 6.87, Demarcus Robertson finished third in the 200 meters with 22.13, and Tyler Colvin finished third in the 1,000 meters with 2:37.20. The men's 4x400 meter relay team finished third in 3:20.36.

Other top performances included TreyCoreus Blanton finishing fourth in the 60 meters with 6.90, Daniel Otibo placing fifth in the 3,000 meters with 9:05.75, and Elijah Bullock taking third in the shot put with 12.71 meters.

The Blue Raiders return to action on Saturday, December 13, at the Warrior Athletic Multipurpose Building inside Warrior Park in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
