COLUMBIA, Ky.- Baseball laces up their cleats for their home-opener against the Indiana Institute of Technology at 1 p.m. CST in Egnew Park for a two-day, four-game series. 

Lindsey Wilson (1-10) looks to face Indiana Tech at home after dropping six straight on the road, with their most recent loss coming from a 13-12 decision at the No. 5 Cumberlands. Bryce Sidler leads the Blue Raiders at the plate batting .400 on 16 hits and two RBIs. Drake Young and Matthew Schultz lead the home run derby for Lindsey Wilson with three a-piece, along with a combined 20 RBIs. Glenn Simes (1-2) has the only win on the mound so far this season, pitching a total of 15.1 innings and allowing 11 runs on 22 hits with 10 strikeouts. 

Indiana Tech (3-1) is coming off a two-game sweep of Saint Ambrose University (Iowa). Garrett Rainey leads the Warriors at the plate with three runs on five hits, five RBIs and a home run. Alex Watkins has acquired three RBIs on three hits in seven total plate appearances. Noah Redmon (2-0) leads Indiana Tech on the mound with a 0.00 ERA, facing a total of 31 batters and pitching a total of 10 innings giving up zero runs on two hits, 14 strikeouts, and four walks.

This will be the third all-time meeting between the programs with Lindsey Wilson picking up the 5-0 victory the last time the Blue Raiders faced the Warriors on March 4, 2018. Lindsey Wilson has won both previous match-ups by three or more runs.
