COLUMBIA, Ky.- The Lindsey Wilson baseball teams laces up their cleats for a single road game against the Mighty Oaks of Oakland City University (Ind.) at 5 pm CST in the Tichenor Center on Konkler Field. 

Lindsey Wilson (4-20) is coming off of a 7-5 loss to Midway University (Ky.) last Tuesday. The Blue Raiders, who have a 1-11 road record, look to snap a three-game losing streak with a win over the Mighty Oaks. Bryce Sidler leads the Blue Raiders in batting average with a .383, going 31-81 at the plate with 13 runs, 10 RBIs, and seven doubles. Matthew Schultz has a .365 average, going 23-63 at the plate with 14 runs, 11 RBIs, and three home runs. Andres Duran leads the team in RBIs and home runs with 20 and five, respectively. Glenn Simes (2-4) leads the Blue Raiders on the mound, pitching a total of 34.2 innings, giving up 34 runs on 53 hits, while maintaining a 7.01 ERA. Simes has faced 155 batters and totals 30 strikeouts and giving up 13 walks. 

Oakland City (19-10) is coming off of a three-game series against Shawnee State (Ohio) on March 21 and 22. The Mighty Oaks took games one and two 10-6 and 14-3, but dropped game three, 9-7. Oakland is 11-1 at home this season as they welcome the Blue Raiders to Konkler field. Moises Rosario leads the offense with a batting average of .434 on 46 of 106 at the plate, picking up 25 RBIs, 10 doubles, and five home runs. Xander Willis leads the team with 32 RBIs, picking up 34 hits on 91 at bats, with 27 runs, and six home runs. Fred Fernandez leads the team in the home run department with 10, on just 21 hits in 76 appearances, and tallying 19 RBIs. Mick Uebelhor (3-3) has pitched a total of 34.2 innings and faced 132 batters. Uebelhor acquired 47 strikeouts and gave up just 17 walks, while maintaining an ERA of 3.37 on 16 runs and 34 hits. 

This will be the fourth all-time meeting between the Blue Raiders and Mighty Oaks with Lindsey Wilson leading the series 2-1. Previously, the two teams met on April 11, 2023 in Oakland City, Indiana where the Blue Raiders fell 8-7. Lindsey Wilson averages a total of 10.67 runs against the Mighty Oaks in the three competitions between the programs.
