COLUMBIA, Ky.- Lindsey Wilson's baseball team heads to Lawrenceville, Georgia to face Thomas University (Ga.) at Noon CST on Friday and Thomas University University again at 10 am CST, followed by No. 4 Georgia Gwinnett at 1 pm CST on Saturday at the Grizzly Baseball Complex.

The Blue Raiders (2-14) are coming off of a 9-8 decision to Pikeville (Ky.) on Tuesday where Lindsey Wilson overcame a seven-run deficit. Matthew Schultz is leading the offense with a batting average of .383 and recording 18 hits on the season with three home runs on nine RBIs. Andres Duran and Drake Young lead the team in RBIs on the season with 13 and 12, respectively while tallying a combined 30 hits. Glenn Simes (1-3) has appeared and started in four games, pitching a total of 20.1 innings, giving up 20 runs on 29 hits, with an ERA of 7.97 and 18 strikeouts and six walks. 

Thomas University (5-14) is coming off an 11-6 loss to No. 18 Faulkner University (Ala.). Cameron Tyson leads the Night Hawks at the plate with 19 hits in 55 at-bats, seven doubles, three RBIs, one triple, and a single home run. JT Whatley leads the team in RBIs with 14 and 17 hits on 57 appearances, five doubles, and two home runs. AJ Wydra leads the charge on the mound with 24 strikeouts and six walks while only allowing 27 runs on 33 hits. 

The No. 4 Grizzly's of Georgia Gwinnett (17-2) are on an eight-game winning streak with their most recent win coming against St. Francis (Ill.) 11-0, in 7-innings. Alex Harrell leads the offensive brigade with 27 hits on 55 appearances with 23 RBIs and 28 runs scored. Paul Winland Jr. leads in home runs, tallying three on 20 hits, as well as five doubles. Ben Harris (3-0) has pitched 21.1 innings with an ERA of 2.95, only allowing eight runs on 24 hits, facing 82 batters, striking out 28 and walking 10. 

This will be the first match-up in program history for the Blue Raiders and Night Hawks of Thomas. The match-up between Lindsey Wilson and Georgia Gwinnett will be the 16th all-time meeting with Gwinnett leading the series 12-3. The Blue Raiders and Grizzly's last met on April 13, 2019 when Lindsey Wilson fell in Georgia, 15-5. 

The first pitch of the series will be thrown at Noon CST from the mound of Grizzly Baseball Complex.
