The Blue Raider baseball team welcomes Brescia (Ky.) on Tuesday at 2 pm CST and Oakland City (Ind.) at 2 pm CST on Wednesday to Egnew Park for the last home games of the season. 

Lindsey Wilson (5-31) recently competed in a three-game home series versus the University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) over the weekend, where they dropped all three games 13-2, 22-2, and 22-8. Matt Schults leads the offense batting .362 on the season with 38 hits in 105 plate appearances while tacking on five home runs and 20 RBIs. Andres Duran and Jackson Steele lead the team in RBIs with 22 apiece while also tacking on five home runs and four home runs, respectively. Glenn Simes (3-6) leads the Blue Raiders in innings pitched with 45.2, facing 209 batters. Simes leads the team in strikeouts with 35, while allowing 52 runs on 77 hits. 

Brescia (21-11) is coming off a 7-2 victory over Indiana University Kokomo on Saturday. The Bearcats are led by Artem Logvinov at the plate who is batting .443 on the season with 39 hits in 88 plate appearances and 20 RBIs. Griffin Taylor leads the team in RBIs and home runs with 29 and eight, respectively. Peyton carry leads Brescia on the mound, pitching 45.1 innings, allowing 31 runs on 41 hits and tacking on 34 strikeouts with 25 walks. 

Lindsey Wilson leads the all-time series versus Brescia 28-6, with the Blue Raiders taking eight of the last 10 meetings. At Egnew Park, Lindsey Wilson is 18-2 when facing Brescia and averages 8.97 runs. The last meeting occurred on March 29, 2022 with the Bearcats besting the Blue Raiders 9-7 in Owensboro, Ky. 

Oakland City (29-11) is on a five-game winning tear, with their most recent victories coming in a threeCOLUMBIA, Ky.--game series sweep of Midway (Ky.) on Saturday and Sunday 10-5, 4-3, and 5-4. Hudson Allen leads the team with a .402 batting average, picking up 43 hits in 107 plate appearances, with 29 RBIs and nine home runs. Xander Willis leads the team in RBIs with 40, while Fred Fernandez leads the home run category with nine. Mick Uebelhor has spent the most time on the mound for the Mighty Oaks, firing 51.2 innings. Uebelhor has tallied 72 strikeouts while only giving up 26 walks in 191 batters faced, allowing 22 runs on 41 hits. 

March 25, 2025 marks the last time the two programs met with the Mighty Oaks defeating the Blue Raiders 12-4. The series is tied at 2-2, with both teams having never won an away game against the other.
