COLUMBIA, Ky.- The seventh-seeded Blue Raider baseball team will face No. 6 seed Georgetown College (Ky.) in the Mid-South Conference Tournament at 4:30 p.m. CST on Tuesday in Bowling Green, Kentucky at Bowling Green Ballpark.

Lindsey Wilson is batting .243 in conference play, with Chance Stayton leading the way with a a batting average of .328, going 19-for-58, tallying seven RBIs, six doubles, a triple, and home run in MSC play. Matt Schultz is the other Blue Raider batting over .300 at .310, going 18-for-58, with six RBIs, three doubles, two home runs, and one triple.

Glenn Simes holds a 2-3 record on the mound in MSC play, to lead the Blue Raiders in wins. Simes has 17 strikeouts against league players on the season alongside nine walks and a 10.36 ERA. Simes has allowed 32 runs on 49 hits and pitched 24.1 innings. 

Simes and Kyle Lambert lead in strikeouts with 17, while Lambert has given up 30 runs on 28 hits and allowed 16 walks, in 18.2 innings pitched in league play.  

Georgetown is 5-12 in conference play, sitting at 13-33 on the season. The Tigers are batting .325 on the season in conference play with Sam Turilli leading the way at .442 with 19 hits in 43 plate appearances. Jose Cazorla, Jarrett Chapman, Nolan Smith, and Aiden Jbarra round out the Georgetown players batting over .300 at .339, .329, .303, and .302, respectively.

Chad Baker (0-5 MSC) leads the Tigers on the mound in MSC contests, firing 25.0 total innings,, allowing 29 runs on 38 hits, with 18 strikeouts and seven walks. Baker has an ERA of 10.08. 

The two programs met back on April 8, 2025 with Georgetown taking the win 13-9 in Columbia, Ky. The Blue Raiders trail 23-16 in the all-time series, averaging 4.62 runs. 

Lindsey Wilson is a two-time Mid-South Conference tournament champion, winning in 2013 and 2015. The Blue Raiders are aiming for the program's first NAIA national tournament appearance since 2016 and fifth overall.
