COLUMBIA, Ky. - The Lindsey Wilson women's basketball team made its 19th appearance in the NAIA National Tournament during the 2024-25 season. The campaign started with a 6-0 start that included a win over (RV) Pikeville (Ky.) and head coach John B. Wethington's 700th career victory on November 1, 2024.
Throughout the year, the Blue Raiders also scored big triumphs over (RV) Shawnee State (Ohio) and Oakland City (Ind.), a road win at seventh-ranked Georgetown (Ky.), and a season sweep of Cumberland (Tenn.).
Individually,
Taylor Guess tallied 453 points to pace Lindsey Wilson's offense and move over 700 points for her career with her junior season coming up. Another upcoming junior,
Claire Fleming, averaged 10.9 points per game and knocked down 130 free throws – the 10th-most all-time in a single season – while shooting 81.3 percent from the line.
Jarie Thomas, yet another upcoming junior, recorded a league-high 43 blocks, giving her 63 for her career – eighth-most all-time.
