BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Lindsey Wilson sophomore Eva Cova was named the Mid-South Conference Offensive Player of the Week for women's soccer, conference officials announced on Monday afternoon.

Cova, a native of Miami, helped lift the No. 19 Blue Raiders over archrival Campbellsville (Ky.) on Oct. 8 by scoring two goals in the second half, propelling Lindsey Wilson to a 2-0 victory. This marks the team's third conference accolade of the season. Ashiat Naluggwa and Ona Monserrat Baca previously earned offensive player of the week honors.

The 19th-ranked Lindsey Wilson women's soccer team returns to the pitch for a road contest at 2 p.m. CT on Tuesday to face Midway (Ky.).
