COLUMBIA, Ky. — The Lindsey Wilson women's soccer team rises to No. 13 in the second edition of the STADIONIC-NAIA Women's Soccer National Selection Committee Top 25 Poll, the league office announced Wednesday. In the inaugural release of the rankings on Oct. 1 the Blue Raiders were slotted at 19th.
The six-spot jump comes on the heels of a three-game winning streak. During that stretch, the Blue Raiders have wins over then-No. 22 Cumberland (Tenn.) and now-No. 24 Campbellsville (Ky.), alongside a 19-0 drubbing of Midway (Ky.) on Oct. 13.
Lindsey Wilson's resume features three victories against opponents represented in the polls: No. 11 Spring Arbor (Mich.), 17th-ranked Oklahoma Wesleyan and No. 24 Campbellsville.
The Blue Raiders round out their regular season with trips to Georgetown (Ky.) on Oct. 17 and Georgia Gwinnett on Oct. 21.
