COLUMBIA, Ky. - Lindsey Wilson makes its 2026 home debut when Northwestern Ohio visits Marilyn D. Sparks Park for a three-game series.
The Blue Raiders and the Racers met in Columbia for a single game last season. Despite a career-high 14 strikeouts from
Kayden Murray, Northwestern Ohio held the hosts to one run in a 3-1 decision.
Senior outfielder Hailee Edgell, who's two-run home run was the difference in last year's game, is batting 0.368 with seven hits, including two doubles and a home run. Sophomore Lanie Wooten leads the Racers with eight hits, three doubles, and five RBIs. She is also 2-2 through a team-high four starts in the circle.
Lindsey Wilson is fresh off a two-game sweep of Union Commonwealth (Ky.) on Friday.
Natalie Wandrie smacked her first two home runs of the season, driving in four runs.
The pitching trio of Murray,
Hallie Roberts, and
Grace Adams hold a 1.75 earned run average while limiting opponents to 0.196 at the plate. The latter of the three is up to two saves in four appearances, the first of her career.
Game one of the series is scheduled for 2 p.m. CT on Monday, February 23. Games two and three will be played at 12 and 2 p.m. CT on Tuesday, February 24.
