COLUMBIA, Ky. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics ranks Lindsey Wilson softball tied for No. 17 in its 2026 postseason coaches poll.
After starting the year unranked, the Blue Raiders skyrocketed inside the top 25 and surged to as high as No. 10 by the final poll of the regular season.
Lindsey Wilson finished with a 42-8 record, capturing the program's ninth Mid-South Conference regular season and tournament championship, and earning a 10th all-time appearance in the NAIA National Tournament Opening Round.
Over the course of the season, the Blue Raiders collected seven wins against teams ranked inside the postseason top-25, and an additional six over teams receiving votes.
Madonna (Mich.) -- the 2026 NAIA National Champion -- secured all 14 first-place votes to wind up atop the rankings. Southeastern (Fla.) moved up one spot from its final regular season rating to No. 2, followed by third-ranked Our Lady of the Lake (Texas), No. 4 Indiana Wesleyan, and fifth-ranked Southern Oregon.
Cumberlands (Ky.) ended up at No. 8 following the Patriots run to the World Series, while Campbellsville (Ky.) falls under the "receiving votes" section.
