6/2/2026 11:45:00 AM

COLUMBIA, Ky. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics revealed the three teams of 2026 NAIA Softball All-Americans on Tuesday, naming Lindsey Wilson junior Kayden Murray a Second-Team honoree.

The Bowling Green native carded a career year and was voted Mid-South Conference Pitcher of the Year as a result.

In 38 appearances, Murray posted a 27-5 record — the third-most single-season wins in program history — added five saves, tied for third-most in a single season, and recorded 246 strikeouts, the fifth-most in a single year. She ranked inside the top five nationally in each category.

Additionally, Murray's 35 walks issued were the fewest in the NAIA among pitchers who had thrown at least 200 innings.

Her season highlights included three consecutive conference Pitcher of the Week awards from February 23 to March 9, her second career no-hitter on April 14 against Ohio Christian, a career-best 16 strikeouts in a one-hit shutout of Cumberland (Tenn.) on April 10, an eight-inning, two-hit shutout against No. 17 Cumberlands (Ky.) to clinch the Mid-South Conference tournament title, and two separate shutout streaks of at least 20 innings.

Murray is the 12th different Blue Raider and seventh pitcher in program history to earn NAIA All-America honors. She is the first Lindsey Wilson softball player to receive the distinction since Makea-Al Kaluau and Annabelle Sharber in 2021.
