Blue Raiders Check in at No. 14 in Latest NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Ratings

COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson women's track and field team is ranked No. 14 in the latest NAIA Women's Outdoor Track & Field Rating Index released by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

The Blue Raiders have totaled 137.73 points in the national index, including 131.33 points from individual performances and 6.41 points from relays across 18 ranked marks.

Lindsey Wilson is led by a national-leading performance in the triple jump from Selena Johnson, who ranks No. 1 in the country with a mark of 12.22 meters set at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational.

Promise Amasiatu holds the program's top track ranking, sitting No. 4 nationally in the 100 meters after clocking 11.71 seconds at the Blue Raider Rumble.

Rosemond Owusu is ranked in two events, highlighted by a No. 6 national mark in the high jump at 1.68 meters. She also ranks No. 10 in the long jump with a distance of 5.73 meters.

Chenessa Davis added a top-10 performance in the 100-meter hurdles, ranking ninth with a time of 14.28.

The Blue Raiders' 4x100-meter relay team of Hannah Reid, Chenessa Davis, Elaina Holliday, and Promise Amasiatu is ranked No. 15 in the nation with a time of 47.88.

The Blue Raiders return to competition on Saturday, April 4, at the Centre College Invitational in Danville, Kentucky.
