COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson baseball team is set to take on Lourdes(Ohio) this weekend at Egnew Park in a three-game series. 

The first two games are scheduled for a Saturday doubleheader starting at 1:00 p.m. CT. Game three is scheduled for Sunday at 12:00 p.m. CT.

Lindsey Wilson is coming off an upset of the No. 5-ranked Johnson University (Tenn.), while the Gray Wolves are 3-5 and coming off a series victory against Miami-Hamilton (Ohio).

The Blue Raiders are led by Andres Duran, Keith Stewart, and Isaac Samano. Duran leads Lindsey Wilson in OPS (1.019), while tallying 14 hits and 11 RBIs. Stewart has a team-leading four home runs, while having an OPS of .956 with 12 RBIs and 28 total bases. Samano is batting .308 this season, with a .950 OPS, 10 RBIs, 12 hits, and three home runs. Pitching for LWU starts with Easton Talley. Talley, a freshman from Bowling Green, Kentucky, is leading the Blue Raiders' pitching staff. Talley holds the lowest qualifying ERA on the team (3.79), while striking out 19 in his 19 innings of work this season.
 
Lourdes is led by Jay Breed and Landon Brown. Breed leads the Gray Wolves in batting average (.389), seven hits, and a .944 OPS. Brown is tied for first in RBIs with five and has a team-leading three doubles. Landen Vance and Brendan Holland are at the top of the Gray Wolves rotation. Vance has a 2.25 ERA over two starts, recording eight strikeouts. Holland boasts a 3.09 earned run average, while striking out eight in his 11.2 innings of work this season.

Game one at Egnew Park is scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m. CT on Saturday, with game two starting approximately 30-45 minutes after the conclusion of game one.
