OLD HICKORY, Tenn. - The No. 16-ranked Lindsey Wilson women's golf team finished seventh at the Music City Classic on Tuesday at Hermitage Golf Course.
The Blue Raiders carded a 47-over-par 911 (309-303-299) on the par-72, 6,085-yard course. No. 3 Marian (Ind.) took home the team title with an 869, while No. 1 Keiser (Fla.) finished runner-up with an 880. Lindsey Wilson tied for the sixth-most pars in the tournament with 165.
Kayla Saunders finished tied for 11th with a 6-over-par 222 (75-73-74). Saunders carded seven birdies and was one of just four golfers to finish -2 or better in par-3 scoring.
Thanaporn Buakong finished tied for 21st with a 226 (78-78-70).
Holly Murphy (78-77-78) and
Tara Laverty (78-78-77) tied for 45th with a 233.
Amanda Sitohang carded a 236 (79-75-82) finishing tied for 53rd.
The Blue Raiders now begin preparations for the Mid-South Conference Championship taking place on April 27-28 at Bowling Green Country Club in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
