COLUMBIA, Ky. - Lindsey Wilson student-athlete
Blanca Trillo has been named to the 2026 Mid-South Conference Women's Tennis Champions of Character Team, officials announced Thursday.
The freshman from Narón, Spain, earns the honor for the first time in her career and is the sixth player in program history to garner the honor.
The MSC recognizes a Champions of Character Team for each championship sport. The student-athletes honored on the Champions of Character Team were nominated by their coaches based on their leadership on and off campus, as well as their demonstration of the five core character values of the NAIA.
Bethel's (Tenn.) Giada Meneguzzo, Campbellsville's (Ky.) Jimena Palomo, Cumberland's (Tenn.) Maria Arbeleaz, Cumberlands' (Ky.) Skye McClean, Freed-Hardeman's (Tenn.) Morgan Brown and Georgetown's Anna White all earned the honor.
Trillo and the Blue Raiders open their postseason on Saturday at 9 a.m. CT in the semifinals of the MSC Tournament at the Warren County Tennis Facility in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
