COLUMBIA, Ky. - The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced its 2026 NAIA All-Region Teams and award-winning coaching staffs this week, naming
Kayden Murray and the Lindsey Wilson softball coaches among its lists of honorees.
All-Region accolades recognize student-athletes from the Association's six NAIA regions with selection to one of two teams. NFCA-member head coaches nominate and then vote for the winners in their respective region.
Murray, the Mid-South Conference Pitcher of the Year, was selected to region five's First-Team for the first time in her career. She ended the season ranked top five in the NAIA in wins, strikeouts, and saves, while sporting a 1.98 earned run average.
The Blue Raider coaching staff, -- 2026 ATEC/NFCA NAIA Regional Coaching Staff of the Year -- comprised entirely of Lindsey Wilson softball alumni, including
Callum Maskill,
Annabelle Sharber, and
Brylee Pickerell, led this year's squad to a 42-8 overall record. Along the way, the Blue Raiders captured the NFCA-NAIA Leadoff Classic with a perfect 5-0 record, won the program's ninth Mid-South Conference regular season and tournament championships, hosted an NAIA Opening Round site, and brought home Mid-South Coach and Assistant Coach of the Year honors.
Lindsey Wilson, impressively, began the 2026 season unranked in the NAIA Coaches Poll, but surged into the top 25 by the first regular season poll and soared as high as No. 10.
