Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 MIDWAY, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson softball dominated Midway (Ky.) College on Monday during a doubleheader sweep in Midway, Kentucky.

The Blue Raiders cruised to wins of 12-2 and 18-3. Lindsey Wilson ups its record to 12-10 on the
season.
In game one, Lindsey Wilson jumped out to a 2-0 lead after one inning. The Blue Raiders added seven runs in the fourth inning. In the fifth inning, Lindsey Wilson plated three runs for a 12-0 advantage before Midway scored two runs in the bottom half of the inning. The two runs were not enough as the game was called due to mercy rules.

Sophomore Kim Guy led the Blue Raider charge going 3-for-4 from the plate with a home run, three RBIs and three runs scored. Junior Ginny Long was 3-for-3 with two doubles and senior Bonnie Rooney was 2-for-4 with three RBIs.

Sophomore Leigh Ann Moore collected the win for the Blue Raiders pitching four innings of one hit ball. She struck out two and did not walk a batter.

Lindsey Wilson opened game two with 11 runs in the first inning as the Blue Raiders cruised to the 18-3 victory. Lindsey Wilson collected only one more hit (10-9) in the game, but took advantage of eight walks and three Midway errors.

Senior Whitney Frazier was 3-for-3 from the plate with a double and three RBIs. Sophomore Lauren Miller came off the bench to go 2-for-2 with a home and two RBIs.

Junior Danielle Clark was the winning pitcher. Clark went four innings allowing two runs and scattering eight Midway hits.

Lindsey Wilson returns to the diamond at 3 p.m. CT as the Blue Raiders host Brescia (Ky.) University on Wednesday, March 22 at Joe Johnson Complex.
