Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 3 JEFFERSONTOWN, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College softball team is still alive in the Mid-South Conference Tournament after going 2-1 in the first day of the tournament.

Lindsey Wilson advances to play Lambuth (Tenn.) University in the loser's bracket of the double elimination tournament at 9 a.m. CT on Saturday at Jeffersontown High School.
The No. 3-seeded Blue Raiders opened the tournament with a 3-0 win over sixth-seeded Pikeville (Ky.) College.

Lindsey Wilson sophomore Leigh Ann Moore earned the win, striking out 14 Pikeville batters.

In the semifinals of the winner's bracket, second-seeded University of the Cumberlands shutout the Blue Raiders 3-0 to send Lindsey Wilson into the loser's bracket.

Lindsey Wilson advanced to Saturday after beating No. 4-seed Georgetown (Ky.) College 3-2 in eight innings.
