Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson earned two wins in three games in a weekend series tilt against Pikeville (Ky.) College at Joe Johnson Complex.

The Blue Raiders won 7-2 on Saturday behind a balanced offensive attack which saw eight different Blue Raiders collect a hit. Lindsey Wilson outhit Pikeville 11-7.
Junior Danielle Clark and senior Jill Diesel each blasted two doubles and knocked in two runs. Clark was also credited with the win as she gave up two runs (one earned) on seven hits in seven innings.

In game two, Lindsey Wilson jumped out to a 5-0 lead after two innings and cruised to a 6-1 victory. The Blue Raiders outhit the Bears 9-1.

Seniors Leigh Oakley and Whitney Frazier were each 2-for-3 from the plate to pace the Blue Raiders. Junior Ginny Long connected on a solo home run, her fourth of the season. Sophomore Leigh Ann Moore was the winning pitcher with a one-hit complete game.

Lindsey Wilson dropped the first game on Sunday by a 6-3 score. Lindsey Wilson led 3-0 after two innings, but four runs in the fifth and two more in the seventh for the Bears was enough for the win.

Senior Cassie Bertram and sophomore Kim Guy were 2-for-4 from the plate as the only Blue Raiders with multiple hits. Oakley was given the loss as she allowed four runs on six hits in 4-2/3 innings.

Game two on Sunday was postponed due to weather. The game will be played at the end of the season if it affects the final MSC standings.

Lindsey Wilson improves to 18-13 this season and 6-5 in the Mid-South Conference. Pikeville is 14-13 overall and 1-9 in Mid-South play.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 1 p.m. CT on Tuesday, April 4, as the Blue Raiders travel to play Campbellsville (Ky.) University in Mid-South Conference action.
