Box Score PULASKI, Tenn. -- The Lindsey Wilson College softball team defeated Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) University in the first game of the doubleheader on Saturday.

The second game was canceled because of wet conditions to the field.

The Blue Raiders defeated the Lady Lions 6-2 with the help of a grandslam by junior Shayla Cain in the third inning.

Lindsey Wilson improves to 2-3 on the season, while Freed-Hardeman falls to 3-2.

Senior pitcher Danielle Clark pitched a complete game giving up five hits, two earned runs and five strikeouts in her first win of the season.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 2:30 p.m. CST on Tuesday as the Blue Raiders travel to Oakland City (Ind.) University.
