Box Score 4 COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College softball team won three out of four games over the weekend.
The Blue Raiders split a doubleheader with University of Illinois-Springfield on Friday. The Blue Raiders won the first game 6-0 and lost the nightcap 8-3.

Whitney Mink had five hits on the day, including a solo homerun in the first game.
On Saturday, the Blue Raiders traveled to New Albany, Indiana, to play in the Grenadier Classic hosted by the Indiana University-Southeast.
Lindsey Wilson defeated Calumet (Ill.) College 7-2 in the first game.
Pitcher Bree Miller picked up the win with 2-1/3 innings of work in relief.
Junior third baseman Shayla Cain had a pair of hits, including a two-run homerun.
In the second game of the tournament, the Blue Raiders defeated Concord (W. Va.) College 15-1 in four innings.

Ashlee Oliver earned her first win of the season giving up one run on two hits, and five strikeouts.
The Blue Raiders pounded out 16 hits for the game. Mink finished the game 3-for-3 from the plate scoring twice and driving in two runs.
Lindsey Wilson improves to 5-4 on the season with the three victories.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 5 p.m. CST on Friday, March 9 as the travel to Belhaven, Mississippi, to compete in the Belhaven College Tournament.
