Box Score 2 COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College softball team swept the Pikeville (Ky.) College Bears in a doubleheader at Joe Johnson Complex on Tuesday.
The Blue Raiders (17-14, 8-4 MSC) defeated the visiting Bears (10-22, 4-10 MSC) 4-2 in the first game.

Leigh Ann Moore (10-6) earned the complete-game win working seven innings and allowing two runs on six hits and nine strikeouts.

Lauren Miller led the offense with a pair of hits including a homerun. She also drove in two Lindsey Wilson runs.
Pikeville pitcher Kelley Neace (6-8) suffered the loss allowing four runs on eight hits.
Lindsey Wilson's offense pounded Pikeville's pitching as the Blue Raiders won 14-0 in the second game.

Danielle Clark (5-7) earned the complete-game shutout allowing four hits.
Junior
Jennifer Gross collected three hits in three at-bats driving in four Blue Raiders. Sophomore
Whitney Mink added three hits of her own and four RBIs including two doubles.

Ginny Long and freshman Brittany Hockensmith added a couple of homeruns in the Blue Raider offense.
Pikeville pitcher Courtney Bentley (4-5) suffered the loss allowing 14 runs on 13 hits in four innings of work.
Lindsey Wilson took three out of four from Pikeville in the regular season as they split with the Bears over the weekend.
The Blue Raiders return to action at 3 p.m. CDT on Wednesday, April 11 as they host Midway (Ky.) College at Joe Johnson Complex.
