Box Score 2 CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College softball team split a doubleheader with Campbellsville (Ky.) University on Monday.
The Blue Raiders (18-15, 9-5 MSC) fell short 8-1 in the first game of the doubleheader. The visiting Tigers (31-7-1, 17-2 MSC) claimed the Mid-South Conference regular season crown with the victory.
Lindsey Wilson junior pitcher
Leigh Ann Moore suffered the loss allowing eight runs, seven of which were earned, on nine hits in 5.1 innings of work. Moore struck out a total of six Tigers in the loss.

Ginny Long and junior
Jennifer Gross each finished with two hits for Lindsey Wilson. Junior Ashley Vice added a hit and drove in the only run of the game for the Blue Raiders.
Campbellsville pitcher Kelly Vooris earned the win giving up one run on six hits in seven innings of work.
The Blue Raiders scored nine runs in the top of second inning to control most of the second game. The Blue Raiders defeated the Tigers 12-7 to end Campbellsville's 22-game winning streak.

Danielle Clark collected the win allowing four runs, one of which was earned, on eight hits in five innings of work. Clark struck out four Tigers in the win.
Junior Shayla Cain collected three hits, including a homerun and a double for the Blue Raiders. Cain added three RBIs, and one run in the win.
Sophomore
Whitney Mink added three hits, including a double for the Blue Raiders. Mink finished with two RBIs, two runs and one stolen base in the win.

Kelley Wilson finished with two hits including a homerun, and one RBI, while junior
Jennifer Gross added two hits and two RBIs for the Blue Raiders. Senior
Danielle Clark added two hits in the Blue Raiders win.

The Blue Raiders return to action at 4 p.m. CDT on Tuesday, April 17, as they host Mid-Continent (Ky.) University at Joe Johnson Complex in Columbia.
