Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College softball team split a doubleheader with No. 7-ranked Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) University on Tuesday at Joe Johnson Field.

The Blue Raiders (29-16) scored five times in the first inning en route to a 7-4 win in the opener. Trevecca (46-7) pounded out 13 hits in a 6-2 win to take the nightcap.

In game one, junior Shayla Cain and senior Ginny Long combined for five hits, including a home run each, to lead the Blue Raiders.

Cain was 2-for-4 with three RBIs and Long was a perfect 3-for-3 with a pair of RBIs in the win.

Junior Leigh Ann Moore earned the win allowing four runs on seven hits. She also struck out five Trevecca batters.

In the nightcap, Trevecca's Chelsea Bailey and Ashley McCool each connected on a home run to lead the Trojans to the 6-2 win.

Lindsey Wilson was limited to just four hits in the loss as the Blue Raiders' 12-game winning streak was halted.

Blue Raider freshman Haley Cheuvront drove in the two Lindsey Wilson runs as she has a hit in her only official at bat. She also had a pair of walks.

Senior Danielle Clark suffered the loss allowing all six runs -- five earned -- on 13 hits in the complete game.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 11 a.m. CDT on Friday, April 27, as the Blue Raiders play the winner of Georgetown (Ky.) College and West Virginia Tech in the Mid-South Conference Tournament in Jeffersontown, Ky.
