Box Score 2 PIKEVILLE, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College softball team split a doubleheader with Mid-South Conference foe Pikeville (Ky.) College on Saturday.
Pikeville (10-20, 4-8 in the MSC) won the opener 5-2 with a four-run third inning.Lindsey Wilson junior Shayla Cain had a pair of hits -- including her team-leading sixth home run of the season -- and two RBIs in the loss. Junior
Leigh Ann Moore (9-6) suffered the loss allowing five runs -- one earned -- on five hits in six innings of work.
In game two, the Blue Raiders scored eight unanswered runs in the final three innings to beat the Lady Bears 8-3.
Cain continued to swing a hot bat, going 3-for-3 at the plate with a RBI. Senior
Ginny Long added two hits and three RBIs. Long connected on her fifth home run of the season in one of three home runs by Lindsey Wilson batters.

Danielle Clark picked up the complete-game win, allowing three runs on seven hits.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 3 p.m. CDT on Tuesday, April 10, as the Blue Raiders host Pikeville at Joe Johnson Field.
